Today is Earth Day. The intention of introducing earth day is to bring the awareness of increasing jeopardy that is looming over environment and to persuade one and all to join the force to minimize the peril so that we can all survive another day to treasure the beauty of Mother Nature.
The very thought of Mother Nature reminds me of one of the beautiful songs ever written in Hindi literature, called 'Ye Kaun Chitrakaar Hai!!' This one was penned by Bharath Vyas, one of the renowned lyricist/poet of Hindi film industry. He elucidates the nature as a marvelous piece of art work. He feels, the green, long standing trees, blue and vast sky, shining red sun and fragrant gusts of wind and each and every bit of nature as awe inspiring art work of a spectacular artist.
I wonder if we get the same feeling when we look at the nature around us. Gone all those days, when the nature was naturally beautiful. As they say, power always brings responsibilities. Somehow, we acquired the power, through scientific inventions, and completely ignored the responsibilities to balance the nature.
Well, better late than never, let’s buckle up and be eco friendly, at least from now.
